One of our specialities is pizza made with organic flour from ancient Sicilian grains.

Vultaggio Agritourism is synonymous with quality ingredients and eating well. From this philosophy comes the idea of ​pizza with an authentic and distinctive flavour, the result of a blend of twice-ground Sicilian durum grains including Tumminia, Perciasacchi and Senatore Cappello varieties. We recommend the Zagara Bianca pizza with two ingredients protected by the Slow Food Foundation – ham from the Nebrodi black pig and Vastedda del Belice cheese. It won an award at the “Sicilia in Pizza” event in a recent edition of the Cronache di Gusto (Chronicles of Taste) festival.

Besides pizza, we make bread, biscuits and cakes daily with organic flour from ancient Sicilian grains. The dough of our bread and pizza is made with crescente (yeast) to ensure very slow rising and tasty and traditional results. Bread and pizza doughs are kneaded with patience and passion, paying close attention to changes in the weather that might affect the leavening of the dough.

 True gourmets absolutely must try our 4-cheese pizza, made entirely of products recognized by the Slow Food Foundation, including Vastedda del Belice, Piacentino Ennese and Caciocavallo cheese, mozzarella morsels and Bronte pistachios.
